About Psychic Tools

Psychic Tools is a free educational and entertainment resource developed by parapsychologist, transpersonal psychologist, magician, and former University lecturer Michael Daniels PhD.

It is the latest iteration of a project first conceived in 1996. In October of that year, Daniels added a section to his personal website titled "Psychic Stunt of the Month". The monthly stunts began with paranormal oddities and simple online tricks.

As he gained greater experise in HTML and JavaScript programming, more sophisticated interactive resources were added, including apps for ESP and psychokinesis testing, astrological analysis, I Ching divination, and psychic-themed games.

In 2008, he transferred these resources to the dedicated website Psychic Science. The popularity of this website increased as further interactive apps were added, together with a wide range of informational pages on topics in parapsychology, psychical research and transpersonal psychology. By the early 2020s, Psychic Science was regularly receiving over 100,000 visits per month.

In early 2026, the decision was made to move the popular interactive pages to this new website Psychic Tools, while Psychic Science would continue to host the majority of topic and blog posts.
